Nicole, this is adorable! I love your journaling in the "book" - very clever, and I love your random memory of your getting your first book.
[I can only remember staying in my room all day reading a "Bobsey Twin" book. If I was sent to my room, I hated being there, but if I went in there myself and got engrossed in what I was reading, I would not know the time and be there all day!!]
I love that you found the photo of your first book ever read that was a "chapter" book. Love the banner title with bookshelf and the little bookworm and stack of books.. adorable page!!
