journaling reads: From a very early age, I hated routines. I guess I should put that down as a very positive trait of my personality as it drove me to achieve 3 degrees, 24 very different types of jobs,
travel the world, lived in a few different countries, gained a huge amount of experiencebut that
was at the time, meaning over 10 years ago. Life take us through a journey, some change very
little, some change big time. This has happened to me, to the point of not only having routines, but
also enjoying them to the maximum. In the past 3 years I noticed 3 of those little rituals that make me smile and fill my heart with joy. One is the coffee every time we go out, and this isn't just an outing to the theatre or especial occasion, but groceries shopping or going to the hospital (which should be listed as another routine)
No matter where where we go, we always find a cafe & sit for a cup of hot chocolate or mocha, sometimes grab a bite but always the coffee,
laughter & chat, it really makes me smile & at the
same time a huge pride happens in my heart as
whilst most teenagers would rather see their parents back,Sarita enjoys our little outings. The second routine would be the TV watching, Greys. White Collar, CSIs, Downton or the Doctor. Third routine is thanks to the net we can, if not every day, at least every week we can talk to my parents, the family and our dearest friends
without spending an obscene amount of money on the phone. In the past 10 years I have come to love all these routines & this, the full appreciation of that Simple Abundance, the everyday blessings we so often take for granted has definitely saved my life & fills my soul with love & laughter, even pride...
