You! Looking at you now I can hardly believe that you were ever THIS tiny. And here you were even 2 months old. Those first few days were so frightening. I sat next to your bed for hours, watching monitors, and waiting...waiting to see if you'd continue breathing on your own, waiting to see that your heart was working all by itself, waiting to be sure your tiny, frail body was going to eat enough. Waiting to hear the beeps if something went wrong. And waiting to be able to
hold you--kiss you--and take you HOME!
