Regret

**Journaling Challenge at One Story Down - Words Make It Matter|Regret**
This was a really tough page to do, but I've been wanting to scrap this for a long time and feel like now that I've opened the door I'd like to push myself to do more. It honestly is therapeutic to get this stuff out and have the ability to go back and read it when I feel the need.
Journaling:
My biggest regret is and always will be not having the relationship we could have had.. should have had. Why are we so stubborn? If I thought trying again would make a difference I'd do it in a heartbeat, but it never does. It only ends badly with hurt feelings and a huge amount of frustration on my part. I wish it could be different Dad but I think we've proven time & again it won't be. I've learned to look forward instead of back. I'm thankful for the many blessings in my life and will forever & always regret you're not one of them.
