I've known this tree for a few years and now up close since I moved in. There are so many great things about the tree. The shade. It keeps this place cool in the summer. And there are so many not so good things about it. The roots. Everywhere. Pushing things up and wrapping around pipes. The leaves that fall. The mess it makes. This year after seven years, she is getting a trim. A Big trim. It's over two neighboring properties and this roof. I'm sure that will go. In the end she will still stand. Just a little bit more trim.
