Detour
- Description
- We had a little thought about maybe trying to get home today. Then we'll have a couple of days at home before the house fills up with children again. And then we came across a blocked road. There was a tunnel we were going through, but someone's Tesla had caught fire there. We follow the detour signs and get here.
It turns out that the ferry is the detour, and because of the holiday and many people on the road, there is quite a long queue here. In the picture here, we have already come quite far. There is an hour between each ferry, and it doesn't take that many people at a time. We ended up standing here for many hours. I don't remember when we got here, but we started the day quite early and didn't get to drive that far before we ended up here. Kim Roger on the ferry was taken around 12:30. Luckily we have provisions in the cooler, good company and not the worst weather. We got across in the end, but a little unsure about getting all the way home today.
