I saw the triangles in this template and immediately thought of a quilt. Once I found my photo, it wasn't hard to find kits that were both thematic and a color match.
I love everything about Ronald McDonald houses! We have one here where I live, near our regional hospital, and my company's associates volunteer to make meals and do light housekeeping throughout the year. It's a special place...Love your tribute to the special quilt found when you arrived. Labors of love!

I love that! The night that we were there, they catered one of our favorite restaurants for dinner and it was so comforting. We only had to stay one night (we drove across the state for a specialist appointment) but I loved checking out their kitchen.

That is a beautiful quilt and what a thoughtful gift. I love how you made the template look like a quilt. Also love your title with the needle and thread. @Brendazzle
This one had some food in the communal fridge but every family also got fridge space allotted to them. I saw Instacart delivering groceries while we were playing on the playground in their courtyard. There are multiple houses serving this hospital (one of which is technically inside the children's hospital) so Instacart had a wagon to go between them all.

I can only imagine! I wish this had been available when my parents were having to drive up and down I-5 to visit my sister when she had multiple stays in various hospitals in Eugene and Portland (back in the 60s and 70s). But so glad it's available to families now!
