Created for this month's journlaing challenge. Thank you for looking.
The journaling reads;
A chapter of my life is quietly coming to an end. In just a few months, the house that has always been full of voices, questions, and everyday chaos will grow quieter... ... as the children step out to build lives of their own. Part of me wishes I could slow time down and hold on to these ordinary days a little longer. But another part of me watches with curiosity and pride, impatient to see the paths they will choose and the lives they will create. It feels like standing at the edge of something bittersweet... letting go of what has been while waiting to discover what comes next... not really ready to this chapter to end yet...
Wonderful journaling! Pat yourself on the back for raising people who are ready to launch! The next chapter is awesome, too! Love your use of the black and white striped pieces with the botanical stamps, stitching and dimensional flowers!
Fabulous journaling and memory keeping here! We are at the start of this phase too. My oldest will be graduating college this spring and the youngest is off at school during the year too. We'll have them both home this summer, but that'll probably be the last time they'll both live at home.
