TRIGGER WARNING SA + DV

Disclaimer: This may look like a love letter- it's not. I know this does not equal love. This is made for purely therapeutic reasons.

Translated journaling:
I can dress however I want,
without any comments
other than that you think I'm pretty.

I can be napping when you
come home from work without being ashamed.

I can listen to music that I like.

I can spend as long as I want at the store,
without being accused of infidelity when I get home.

I can arrange a movie date with the
big boys, and of course you
babysit. Without whining.

Things in the house don't get destroyed when you're angry.

Bedtime is no longer scary,
because I don't have to worry
about being taken against my will.

Not once have you pinned
me down and hit the wall next to
my head as hard as you can.

I was attracted to this page in the gallery because of the lovely, soft colours. Reading into what the journaling infers is very powerful though. I am glad that you now are in a more safe and supportive space. This is a beautiful page in both design and thought.
