Wonderful storytelling through your journaling and photos. How cool that you drove a Triumph! Your journaling made me giggle a little. Sounds like that car had character! Love that photo of you, and the placement of the road and car. Fabulous page!

Beautiful page Marilyn! I love how you used the template. The painted road at the top with the VW Bug, and that adorable photo of you in the car. Wonderful memories you wrote about. How in the world was it road worthy and able to get a registration? I giggled reading about the turn with the door opening, but to see at the end, you made $25 on the resale, well done! LOL.. we all have that special car, but I am so glad you have the photo and journaled about it. I enjoyed reading about your adventures in the car! TFS and playing along with the February Template challenge! Well done!

Thanks, Christa. Well, I knew it had plates, and I assumed it was registered??? That would have been John's responsibility. I doubt that anyone looked at it back then. It always started up, whether the traditional way or by using the crank. We had it and drove it for at least 5 years. The VW was huge in size compared to this little cutie.

so so fun I bet you have tons of fun memories, and you are correct, back then I am sure it would have been passed to allow to drive.. glad you had fun, but I am astonished to see you made a profit and still had fun with it for 5 years!
