This is beautiful! I couldn't agree more about it being bittersweet as they grow and become independent. (that feeling continues). I just love your somewhat nostalgic feel to this, the stitching down the center to divide the space for your journaling.
Aww what wonderful journalling and a gorgeous family. I am there now, in the midst of the busy-ness of life with little ones, mine are 8 and 11 but my eldest is neurodivergent and heavily reliant on me and routine. I know I am going to miss this busy life so much when they are much older
