So much love in these photos! I adore the plaid edges and the circle of paints anchoring the photos. Good job taking the detour for family.

What a wonderful opportunity! I love the way you used a patterned paper on the edge of the page where the paint is (I assume that's what you did...clipped a paper to an edge overlay?)

Thank you. I love this type of edge treatment and layouts with vertical flow. That could be because I often take photos with portrait orientation.

Yes I like to clip patterned paper to make an edge or even paint my own. I’m trying to do Scrap Happy’s LayOut A Day this month. Yesterday’s technique prompt (there’s always a story prompt and a technique prompt) was to use a plaid patterned paper so that’s particularly why I tried a plaid here. I liked it so kept it there. Thanks for stopping by.
