- The Dwingeloo Radio Observatory, located in the Netherlands, is a historic radio telescope surrounded by the natural beauty of the Dwingelderveld National Park. Built in 1956, it was once the largest radio telescope in the world and is now a national monument as well as a center for science, heritage, and amateur astronomy.
