This Monarch is the first one I raised this summer from a caterpillar. It's amusing because my son and I went to the mom and pop garden center to look for more milkweed. It was on the plant, so I bought it. I have two butterfly containers to raise them in to protect them from predators. I keep them in the bathtub to prevent my cats from messing with them. Currently, I have a chrysalis, a caterpillar and possibly an egg. I free them as soon as their wings are dry.
@cfile Did you know that the Monarch butterfly is on the endangered species list? That's why I do this. Thank you so much. If you plant milkweed, a beautiful plant, they will come. Just like that baseball movie.
