Big hugs, Stefanie.. I know it is not easy. I know though that it gives you comfort that she is with family there and that she can hop a ferry and a train (maybe) and visit her brother there.. not the same as seeing you both always, but comforting to know she will have family around her. All the best to Rosie on this new chapter, and to you and your hubby, hugs. TFS... you scrapped the photos beautifully!
I think you are talking as my mum would do. At least she has my brother close by but I know it is hard for her that I am so far away from France. And it is for me too but "c'est la vie", right? It doesn't make it easier but I guess we have to find some healing in the fact that everybody is happy doing what they like.
Good luck to her... and to you too
Thank you for using so beautifully my goodies to share this precious family moment.
It’s already difficult enough when the kids go off on their own, but to see them off to another country is heart-wrenching! You have to trust that they have internalized everything you’ve instilled in them and that they will be okay without you. This is a new chapter of life. May you discover the blessings it holds in the midst of the emptiness.
