Journaling: Started our farm life in 2003 with chickens, turkeys, and goats. Then farmlife went off the rails until 2020. But then we outgrew our half acre.
In 2024 we took steps in to get a larger farm. After much prayer & searching we found it. On July 16th a farmhouse, cabin, barn and 10 acres were acquired. Then pigs came along in October!
How exciting to be starting your new adventure Jess! Brilliant cluster work and those photos are fantastic. Simply love your page design here, looking forward to seeing your layouts as your new farm progresses!
How fun! Glad you found a bigger farm and I love seeing your farm life pages. The piggies are so cute! I love your coffee cup too with the rooster on it! Great cluster of flowers and fall leaves and that paint. wonderful with the ricrac ribbon trim! Beautiful!
Love the rustic background with the homey elements like ric-rac and plaid, leaves and fall flowers...really helps tell the farm story. Admire everyone who takes on this way of life...it must be so much work yet so rewarding!
@wombat146 It certainly has been an adventure lol! @cfile I never thought of myself as a "pig" person - but turns out I really love pigs lol! @scrapchyck It is a lot of work but I am happy my kids get to experience farm life and so far they love it - which I am thankful for. Thank you all for taking time to leave me such sweet comments!
Wowee what a story!! Has it changed your life much? I Imagine it has - I'm curious and intrigued - thanks for playing along with the challenge during summer camp xo
Thank you @Rachel Jefferies for taking a moment to leave me a note! And outside of the health benefits of eating from our land, I just stay a little busier! Life is certainly never "boring" either lol! For example, this week has been turkey poult hatch week. ♥
