Created for TLP's Summer Camp Challenge, Sleeping Under the Stars
This was the perfect challenge for a memory I had recently that led me down an internet rabbit hole trying to locate a childhood relic! You can listen to the album HERE if you want!
CREDITS: ninigoesdigi's A Sky Full of Stars everything except the edge overlay which is by Nancie Rowe-Janitz, the stamped moon from Joyce Paul's June Dreams, the rocket by Little Butterfly Wings (Love Edition) and flare brushes by Karl S2; Font-Futura
Great shot of the moon! I also love looking at and learning about the moon, it's always magic to sit outside and look up at that magical orb! Love your journaling and how you have scrapped your photo on this fantastic page, the addition of the album cover is a brilliant idea as well! Stunning job on bringing it all together!
Great moon photo Becky! Love your page! My Dad worked for Grumman and helped on the Lunar Module (LEM) so we were always interested in Space I don't know if you ever saw the HBO/Tom Hanks Mini Series "From Earth to the Moon", but if not, it is a great series. (Library may have it too for borrowing). Love how you scrapped your page with the glittery stars the elements and all the goodies to accompany your photo. Great journaling!
@wombat146 Thank you! I don't often get a clear view of the moon because we are surrounded by trees and houses, so that was a nice happenstance! I forgot to mention I placed the Scorpius constellation on the right hand side of the page, since that is the sign for late October/November when I was born. What fun this page was to make!
@cfile Space...the final frontier! I will have to see if I can find that mini series. I have heard of it. Just such a fascinating time in our history. Must've been heady times for your dad and his team at Grumman!
