Non-eclipse

This is so funny (sorry, I will explain) I am sure you were disappointed and I am sorry for that, but the funny bit is the photo with the trees and clouds, I have exact same picture somewhere from the non-eclipse of 1999 in Cornwall. I'll see if I can find it...

Love this Liz! Yes I think that happens with all eclipses! (same with the one April 8 2024!) I loved reading your journaling and seeing the photos that you took.. the darkness is definitely an eerie photo! I love your eclipse photo and the composition of your page. lol i love your story, it's so perfect for this challenge and i love howyou illustrated it with the 'not there' photos and elemnts! (every time there is any 'go see mars and venus aligned for the first time in forever ' or whatever announcement here, we roll our eyes and expect cloud cover again, it's almost a certainty)
