Beautiful page Ginnette! Love the "From Where I Stand" Photo perspective! I loved the Summer with bare feet on the green grass! When I lived in New York growing up, the grass was nice and soft like a carpet. Now that I have moved down south, the grass is like razors most of the time, so no more walking barefoot! Love the Dandelion "wish" flower photos (I call the fuzzy dandelions wishes!) and lovely clustering.. the Out of Bound framing of your photo is delightful! Beautiful page!
@cfile What a beautiful comment , my heart jumps for joy, I love walking through my garden barefoot and sitting with my hands in the soil, I feel so at one with the earth and I love dandelions. What a shame that you can no longer walk barefoot through the grass. Why does the grass feel different where you live now? Is it because it is mowed a lot? People like short-mown grass as if it is more beautiful. In May I never mow, I let everything grow this gives many crops in grasslands the chance to grow and especially to bloom. And the latter is very good news for nature.
@wimmeke Ginnette, it is a different kind of grass that grows here. In New York the grass is like what they have in Europe. In the Southern US there is a lot of grass that you need to plant to be tolerant with the heat. A lot of it is called Crab Grass or St. Augustine which is tough grass. We have a mixture of grasses here in Virginia (where I am) but I still miss the grass I grew up with Have a terrific day and enjoy the gardening and sunshine!
I love this so much!! I love the feeling of grass under my feet and I can almost feel it through your page! This is so beautifully scrapped and wonderful words!
