*** Pocket cards made by rounded rectangle shape.. I then selected rounded rectangle shape so it was with marching ants and copied a portion from the background paper and pasted, which gave me a selection from a part of the background. I added a shadow and used this behind my photo. I did this twice with different areas of the background paper. I then stuck the doily underneath it all to separate the shadowed cards from the background. I used that same rounded rectangle to clip my photo to. ***
I considered this paper pack when I was starting my page for today too - i love the realistic paint and texture and it looks so good with the crisp doiley and pop of green foliage - hope the transition lenses work out for you, my relo's seem to either love them or hate them!
@trekmom Thank you Val! Re glasses we got new ones in September but we have great vision benefits and could get a new pair in January... Hubby wanted larger progressives (reading area) and the transitions so we indulged and are happy! Hugs!
@bellbird Thank you so much Justine.. Re the transitions the only thing we don't like is it takes longer to clear indoors than it takes to get dark outside so we are "cool" for a little bit indoors! LOL Hugs!
I'm glad that you did this, also, it's great to have more than one pair of glasses. I watch a lot of cooking shows and that Carla Hall has so many pairs of glasses, I know where her money goes, lol!
