Leftover Dinner
We have quite a lot of leftovers, and I make a spaghetti bake. Leftovers of a lentil bolognese is mixed with some onion, leek, a tin of mushrooms, some "meat" loaf that I mashed, cream and more spices. I pour the sauce over the spaghetti and top it off with cheese. Bake for 25 minutes. It turned out amazingly good!
I'm so happy that I really can and like to cook. Now when everything has become so expensive, it's nice to know that I have the will and the knowledge to really make use of every little bit of the food we spend out money on. To not just microwave the leftovers, but to create new interesting dishes from what we have. A blessing in the everyday life.
I'm blown away by anyone that can repurpose leftovers into something that wasn't the original dish. I don't have that creativity. Your cooking skills are just as amazing as your scrapbooking ones??!
An interesting combo for sure! And I am always impressed when layouts contain more than one photo. I love the stitched photo borders. And the pasta inside the plastic bag is adorable!
