@trekmom thanks Val Which font? The Rafaesty Wigera? I love that too.. I think I went on the hunt for a font one of the designers used.. I couldn't find an exact match but saw this one and I really loved it too!
Oh, they were having a good time! Love the rounded corners on the photo. I always forget about being able to do that, it looks awesome. And I, too, love all the font work, and the way the year is formatted.
@scrapchyck thanks Becky I was just playing with fonts and just masked out the section on the 9 and wrote the year in there It was fun to just play with the old slides.
@AnjaDD Thank you Anja! I inherited all the old slides, photos and movies from my parents. I cannot believe some photos I have are over 100 years old now and it just doesn't seem that way as I knew these people LOL
@cfile oh wow that is awesome!! I do have some old photos from my grandparents... but not THAT many. And all the photos from my parents are still at my mom's...
@AnjaDD They are the best though!!! I smile when I use the old photos as I liken it to visiting with them. I was laughing the other day as my cousin (younger than me) went through some of my Uncle's slides and asked who was in the photo as she thought it was someone else.. I answered oh that is Grandma's neighbor from next door Mrs. H--- and then her best friends that we called "Aunt".. M & E.. it was funny.. I also gave her stories with them... she wouldn't know who all the people are on my Mom's side.. plus she was a year old when her family moved from New York to Florida.. so I guess I am the family historian too LOL Knowing friends and neighbors as I knew everyone first hand in that vintage photo from 1960's
