I love song lyrics and I am often inspired from them, especially if I have a photo to go with it. A few weeks ago, I looked out the window and saw this beautiful and perfect mauve rose growing amongst the red knock out roses. It was from a mauve rose bush we had planted many years ago which had broken during a storm at the base. We thought it was lost for good. Last year it grew a little but the rabbits were enjoying it, so we basically gave up on it. We were so surprised when we saw the branch with the rose pushing out from the back of the red roses to literally yell
"I'm Here!!"
That is what inspired the June challenge, as in my head when I saw it, I heard Bette Midler singing “Just remember in the Winter, far beneath the bitter snow, lies the seed that with the sun's love, In the Spring becomes the rose.”
The challenge for June is simple.
Choose a song lyric that inspires you and scrap a page with it. It could be an entire song, a chorus or just one stanza. Let us know in the credits, what the song is too!
You can include a photo/photos and additional journaling if you wish, or it can be a photo-less page, as long as you include the lyrics.
