"Chasing the total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024.
The day before there was not even one cloud. On the day of the eclipse though there was a tight curtain of them obscuring the view. Luckily, with the help of NASA's website and the New York Times's interactive cloud coverage map, we found a pocket of reasonable weather. We watched the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse in Meadville, PA. The Sun disappeared for almost 3 minutes, between 3:16 and 3:19 PM.
To me, it was a breathtaking and almost spiritual experience, much different than the 2017 eclipse."
