For August's Formula Challenge - 1 paper, 1 element, 1 alpha, 1 font, 1 picture, 1 colour.
I didn't have a specific idea in mind when I started, and because the page was going to be pretty minimal as far as elements etc., I decided to focus on the journaling, which is something I tend to keep really basic and not at all personal. I think I understand now what 'scrap therapy' means. TFL!

Beautiful page and amazing journaling. We have struggled with our family as well. I wanted to be a mom since I was a little girl. Losing these dreams hurts so much. Thank you for sharing this. I hope you find happiness and peace soon. I hope the hurt lessens a little bit every day. A really, really beautiful layout.
Your journaling is so powerful and so touching, and I love the simplicity of the layout with the focus being on the journaling. I just had this discussion with a friend the other day about the unfairness of it all for some of you women, wonderful women, who want nothing more than to be a mom. My heart breaks for all of you. I'm an adopted daughter, and I can tell you that it can be a wonderful thing. I was so blessed to be adopted by amazingly loving parents! Whether you choose to remain childless, or choose to adopt, I pray for peace for you!! Big giant hugs!!!
