journaling: We had such a warm fall and it was 55 degrees on Christmas day, so I never thought we’d get any snow this winter. On Jan. 12th Wyatt got the first of three snow days in a row. The first day the snow didn’t arrive, but the next day it got really cold (0°F) and then the snow started falling. It is so pretty! Wyatt was thrilled with the days off too.

Love how you captured the progression of the snow building up over the days! I love the inclusion of the online announcements, too. A great winter page for sure!

Oh my Karen. You really did get it didn't you! I didn't realize you were in St. Joseph. We lived in Kalamazoo for 15 years so we were almost neighbors :) I love your photos and the way you labeled them with the dates so that you can see the snow getting deeper and deeper! Hope you are dug out now :)

@mocamom no way! That's so cool that you used to live in K-zoo. I went to school at Western, so I lived there for four years. Small world!

@Karen ha! Been on that campus a gazillion times with stuff for the kids so that's hysterical. Hopefully you get a break in the snow before the next band hits!
