Description
MOC 12 January 20 - Moments in Your Life
First time using the Google AI app, Bard, to develop a page! The chat's AI suggested using a 3 x 2 grid for six photos, choosing close-up shots of me holding the babies (I had already done that, but I thought the suggestions were great: a baby nestled against your shoulder, a gummy smile as you make silly faces, a peaceful scene of you rocking a baby to sleep), and to write snippets of your honest thoughts and feelings around the edges of the page. It advised "be open and vulnerable about not feeling like a natural caregiver, include short anecdotes about specific moments captured in the photos." It also suggested using small word strips throughout the page with relevant words or phrases like "learning," "growing" and "trying my best." It told me I could use pre-designed digital word strips or create my own! Pretty dang clever!

When I was done I typed in, "Thank you! My page turned out great!" and it responded: That's so wonderful to hear! I'm so glad I could help. I'd love to see your finished page if you're comfortable sharing it. Sharing creative projects can be inspiring for others and it would be a joy to see how your vision came to life.

I did go with B&W photos because the clothes in each photo were so vastly different, and I like the effect.

Upon first glance I thought all those babies were yours and then thought "dang, how does she have time to scrap?" When I read your wonderful story I was even more impressed. I like the use of b/w photos too.

@stephc777 I had surprisingly few photos of myself and my kids...at any age! No one ever takes pictures of the Mom! Especially when we were only using film. Maybe it's different now with the handiness of phones. But yes, scrap you and your babies!

First, this should be shown to all new moms. So much of our advertising tells these new moms that they should know exactly what they are doing since the information is out there easily accessible on the internet. They don't talk about the uncertainty that young mom's face so again, show your nursery moms!

Second, would you pretty please write a tutorial on using AI? I think that is unbelievably talented of you!

Becky this is beautiful and what a beautiful story ending to volunteer in the Nursery at church from something you didn't ever think you wanted to do .. fabulous.. love all the b/w photos and your composition.. well done. So glad you found an app to help you scrap the page :) I am scared of AI, but have found a few things in PS that I have enjoyed with AI.. glad to see your beautiful page of the Moments in your life with you and your nephew and your own babies in addition to the nursery babies. Great color scheme too with the blues and peaches and gold.. well done!
