This is absolutely wonderful Amanda! What a beautiful photo of the two of you on your wedding day! I am so glad she was well enough to be there for your big day. I had 2 special ladies like that in my life too, one lived next door like your Mom Mom Lyons and another was my Mom's friend who was like a surrogate Grandmother as she was like a 2nd Mom to my Mom.. both came to my wedding, so I know how you felt and are feeling in this photo. Your Mom Mom Lyons is a beautiful woman with her sweet smile.. You are beaming here between getting married, being with Mom Mom Lyons and her being there.. how extra special this photo is. As I said in the challenge, some dear friends are as close as family, and I can "feel" and "see" the connection here in your photo and your journaling. @cfile You’re always so sweet with your comments. I’m glad you had a sweet memory. She was an awesome lady. My favorite memory is her teaching us with her granddaughters how to play blackjack with her penny tin.
