Journaling:
I always feel drawn to
water, whether it be the ocean,
rivers or waterfalls. I still
miss living near this river
even though it was the cause
of me having to leave it
behind.
I love your blending and how you let the photo take place on the page. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been for you when you had to move, but I love that you still feel the love for the river!
from the look of the news it's another wet summer up your end (it's wet down here too but nowhere near that extent) so i hope you are still happy with water (although i would have thought you'd be scarred forever so i'm both amazed and heartened to see your beautiful page!
@A-M it rained inside our laundry the other afternoon; i'm grateful we were home when it happened and have tiles and that the water came in from above the door, not up with mud from the ground outside; i can only imagine how traumatising the sound or thought of rain could be!
Beautiful page Ann-Marie. Fantastic photo, masking and blending here. Your quote is perfect and I completely understand the love of water, and how you love it still even after what you and your husband went through. Water can be quite calming and mesmerizing as it flows. Beautifully scrapped. Well done!
I was drawn to your page because of the lovely photo of water and then because of your intriguing comment about having to leave it behind. I feel a sense of calm and God's magesty when I see the ocean...living in CA, then FL, and now OH, I miss the ocean!
