DYD 2016 Turkey Day

MOC 5 - Challenge #4 - Stylin' Titles
I used Mommyish Styles (Holiday Style Collection & Wood/Cork) on my title.

Journaling reads:
Everyone has that story of cooking turkey on the big day and it ends up not being done... or worse not being thawed. Well that kinda happened to us this year! Mom (Grandma K) canceled her Thanksgiving celebration so she had extra turkey that she offered to us since Dad was also not doing Thanksgiving this year. She began cooking it the day before I was going to come over and pick up it and thought it was done. Unfortunately, she started to slice into it to divide it up for us, and it was still red! So she threw it back in the oven while Tizzy and I hung out for about 6 hours waiting for the turkey to get done. Eventually, we ended up having to come back a few days later in order to pick up a portion of turkey. So on November 23rd, we had our Turkey dinner for the season. Jamie made mashed potatoes and gravy and yummy green bean casserole to go with our turkey.
