@flowersgal What a delight to find your post this morning. I write the first draft of my father’s eulogy last night. He loved telling stories and was an amateur photographer, he would have loved hearing that I used this photo of him and his friends in this way.
@mcurtt , It was their posing that drew me to the photo. First for my dad’s memorial service this week and then for the layout. Creating this was a brief respite as I was working on a long to do list.
@LynnG , thank you. Beautifully and poignantly, I can look out of a window in the room where I am sitting with my iPAD and see the tree and the barn that are in the background. My father and his friends are all gone now.
