Gone are the days when my daughter's success was my doing - all those years of teaching her to do what was needed to achieve the result she wanted have now paid off and today she can proudly say that all her successes are hers and hers alone. (So are the failures, of course.) But that day, the eight-year-old who performed flawlessly owed her brilliance - and the praise she reaped - to my determination. She would go on to develop other interests and never learn to play the piano perfectly, but that momet would stay with her forever - 15 minutes a day EVERY day is actually a lot more than most people are willing to invest into their success. And I love that about her.
I love that big photo and music will always be with her thanks to she has learned it once. I love all your bits of paper and elements you used and I love your journaling, that is so powerful words from a mom to her daughter.
