Translation:
The first winter in the house, it was increadible cold. From mid November all the way til Febriary, it was basically cold all the time, and it came lots of snow. We thought we'd made a huge mistake, because we imagined it would be cheaper to live in a house, then renting an apartment. The boiler formally devoured pellets. But with the years, we now know that this was in no way normal, but the first winter sure gave us a scare.

[FYI: -20 degrees Celsius is about -4 Fahrenheit]

I love your extra-large page filling photo and, dang, that's cold! What a beautiful right sided design you've created. All of the colors of your clusters fit perfectly with your photo and help demonstrate how gee golly cold it is. Wonderful page.

What a crazy first winter Eva! I’m glad it was only the first one so you were able to enjoy the warmer ones later on. I love the big photo focused on the thermometer with the blurry background.
