We were two months into the first National Lockdown in the UK during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
This day was SO hot - we ventured out to the park in our free time for a change of scenery and chose a spot where we knew it would be quiet.
We took a picnic blanket, some books, snacks, a ball and a tube of blowing bubbles. We played hide and seek around the trees, we ran around popping bubbles, we admired the daisies in the lawns and then we read our books and ate our snacks. We had a jolly good time!

I used the Mixed Media Papers, the elements and papers from the Kit, the Mixed Media Elements and also modified one of the templates.
Such lovely photos and beautiful page. I read something the other day about how lockdown actually was, for some people and in some ways, a special time - rediscovering quiet pleasures and family togetherness, and people trying to be kind. I definitely have some sympathy for that view!
these were the best kind of moments in lockdown - i hope you print your journalling for the gallery here on the back of this page or an additional facing page because it gievs these photos context and takes this from being stella visually to a complete story (IMHO)
Wonderful page. It must have been so hard on the kids to not be able to go to school. The kids in Sweden from pre-school up to ninth grade did go as usual and their life wasn’t affected so much as the rest of the kids in the world.
