Design Approach:
Strong Cut Out is 3 separate layers that were cut out and then glued/layered on top of each other to add dimension. Edges were inked with the Black Alcohol Ink marker

All flowers are dimensional and this is created by layering bits and pieces of each type of flower upon itself. Some flowers have 3 layers and others only have 2. All the flowers had the edges inked to cover the core from the white paper I printed on.

The center of most flowers were created by using various sizes of the Pink Fresh Pearls. For the small green flowers, I actually used the liquid pearl, dropped it into the center of the flower and used the heat gun to help form a crust while it was drying. The heat made the crust pliable so that I could add an element of design/dimension to it before it cooled.

All the green foilage was actually placed on piece by piece. some of it has the edges inked some do not. I like scrunch my leaves up to create more dimension and make the greenery look more realistic.

Butterfly in the top right is 3 different layers with some creasing to create the dimensional look. Butterfly in the lower left is 2 layers, the top layer has a soft gold embossing on it.

(you can see close ups of the butterflies here):

If you look at the way the BG papers are layered/shadowed, they resemble the the digital version of the template--to create this look I used 3d adhesives strategically.
