Wonderful page and thanks for the “ruby lesson”, how interesting. I have a ring from my uncle that has a big red stone in it. I bet it is a synthetic ruby. He was born in the 1880s so the time is about right. I like all your layers of papers. Great page.

I loved reading your journaling ... it not only shows why your Ruby Ring from your Great Grandmother was so special to you as it was passed on through the generations and now down to you, but also the history of the Ruby/Synthetic Ruby. Wow pretty incredible! I am so glad you enjoyed the challenge and that it sparked an interest in documenting your other treasures!
