MOC 11 Jan 4th Re-scrap a Page

I haven't been a part of The Lily Pad for long, so had to re-scrap a very recent page, but that was fine.

Happy 60th Becky and so glad you have joined us here at the pad for the MOC! Love both of your pages! The original and the re-scrap! I just read your journaling, and how wonderful that you took a trip by yourself and did some reflecting. [I turned 60 in 2021 ...I wanted to travel, but that was not in the cards as the pandemic was doing the boomerang and no to traveling overseas...This year is the big 62 so i am looking forward to collecting Social Security :giggle ] Your blending of the papers and that wonderful lighthouse photo into the background is superb, and you are as beautiful as your day was! Great page!

@cfile I was so glad I could get away for a few days by myself. I had traveled to my daughter's wedding in May and everyone got Covid! So, that was a less-than-pleasant trip. This one was peaceful! Made me want to retire right now! LOL Thank you for the warm welcome to the challenge!

@scrapchyck Oh Becky so sorry the trip for your daughter's wedding everyone got covid.. how horrible. I am glad though you got to get away and refresh. When you decide to retire you will love it. I retired early the week before turning 51 as my goal was age 50 and these 10 years have been wonderful!

Welcome! I love your idea of noting xx numer of things about yourself. I may stop to do that for myself. Lovely page, with the addition of you with the rocks and lighthouse.
