Journaling:
Each year our little neighborhood has a 4th of July celebration. All the kids in the neighborhood decorate their bikes, wagons, and pets in red, white and blue and all the families participate in a parade around the neighborhood. We listen to patriotic music and read the Declaration of Independance. I couldn't think of a better way of celebrating the country and the love we all share for it.

Love the page. What a great way your neighborhood celebrates. Our small city does similar but on a grander scale... big parade to the park, festival all afternoon, and a huge firework show when the sun goes down. We've been lucky enough to watch the fireworks off our upper back deck for 11 years now!
