Journaling - For Halloween this year, Benjamin wanted to be a blue bird. We were a little surprised because pretty much since last Halloween, he kept saying he was going to be a calico cat, but in August he decided that no he wanted to be a bird. He was really excited when the wings came and couldn’t wait to wear them. Then on Sunday, he told us he didn’t want to wear his costume to school because he was worried the other kids would call him “a baby for being a blue bird.” He didn’t want to walk in the parade before school either. We watched the parade together and he said he wanted to wear his costume when he went trick-or-treating with Daddy.
