Wonderful page, Cheryl. I love the title and I agree, it is weird when your grands are adults that you can actually do adult activities with, especially involving alcohol - weird and absolutely wonderful as well. What's even more wonderful is that your grandson actually finds the time to spend with his beloved Grandmother - how nice for you both to have such a close relationship.
@Lillyia Thanks so much for your wonderful comments, Lillyia! Only another grandma "gets it", right? I love that my adult grands still love spending time with me. This guy was my first and my introduction to this great "Grandmotherhood" Club! He's also the reason I started scrapbooking - I wanted to document the birth and highlights of his life. I now have 5 more sweet grandbabies. Your comments gave me goosebumps.
@Cherylndesigns So funny you mentioned goosebumps - reading your comments did the same thing to me, Cheryl. Your story sounds just like mine -first grand, started scrapping, now have 4 grands. I am just amazed when my grands actually want to spend time with me and I am so very grateful - we must be doing something right, right?!! Good for us.
@Lillyia I'm still amazed by how much I love these 6 of mine and the way they feel about me! Yes, we MUST be doing - have done - something right!!! They're such wonderful blessings! I read a quote once that I laugh over so often "If I'd have known how wonderful grandkids were, I'd have had them first."
I feel the same way about mine wanting to spend time with me!! It's a wonderful, small world, isn't it???
