Weekend Fruit & Nut Cake

What an interesting recipe. I think I would like it. Never heard of soaking the fruit in the tea water.

@bcgal00 soaking the fruit makes the cake moist. For a more luxury cake my mum would soak in sherry or brandy instead.

Beautiful page, I really like the masking on the photo and the big picture just drew me in. I think it would be a delicious cake for those who eat fruit in cake (I'm a weirdo and cannot eat cooked fruit or dried fruit, I know I'm weird) but it really does sound delicious minus the fruit
