@mcurtt Rod is a ham! His chickens were gorgeous but too many were eaten by hawks and fox when he used to let them out. Those fresh eggs are but a memory now.

@cookingmylife My husband and I have been buying free range eggs from Amish farmers for about 6 months. What a difference! The color of your bird caught my eye as the hens I see on the farm are similar. Great photos and fun layout. Love the name of the coop, too.

i've always liked the idea of having chickens! that rooster is a looker! love the pic of the falls to - costa rico sounds really good right about now! beautiful vivid colors!
