Journaling - Every school day, I wake Ben up after my reminder alarm goes off at 7:45 a.m. I knock on his door a few times and then flip on the overhead light and turn off the monitor and the lamp he uses as a nightlight. He sits up and asks for cuddles and we spend the next 10 minutes cuddling in his rocker before getting dressed and brushing hair for zoom school. He always eats breakfast at the computer during the “hello, welcome” song Ms. Ellman sings every morning while showing the students’ names and the kids shout them out. Feb. 2021
