well aren't you mother of the year for letting them bring a pile of sand into your dining room! (we've done 'kinetic sand' and it still gets everywhere) He certainly looks proud of his lego creations as well and looks like they had fun!
@bellbird Ha ha! This is kinetic sand, so not nearly messy as having regular sand in the house. They're pretty good at keeping the sand on the cookie sheets.
