Description
Charles Island has a myth, that the famous pirate may or may not have buried treasure there. People actually go there with metal detectors to search. Generally, they get stuck there when the tide changes and need to be rescued. They walk out on the sand bar and, get stuck. The town frowns upon this, of course.
For this page I used:
Lynn Grieveson's Beachy Brushes, 3, 4, and 5.
Lynn Grieveson's Wind In My Sails: Circle tag 2, Banner, Flowers blue, 2 and and 3.
Just Jamie July frame, paper 13 and 14 and stamp 4.
Little Butterfly Wings ap X as in X marks the spot.
No pirates were harmed in the making of this page.
Don't try this at home or in Milford. It's a myth. Ain't no treasure there.
I love a good history page. Your large photo, with the arrow is amazing. The lighthouse is the perfect touch!

@Donitab Thank you. Promise me that if you come to Milford, CT, you will visit me and not go looking for buried treasure.

Interesting tale. I love your large muted photo with the arrow pointing to it. Fun layout with all the little nautical accents.

HA! LOL at them getting stuck. I always wanted a metal detector when I was a kid, so that would probably be me :dancebun Lovely scrapping!
