This week's muse was all about reaching for something that we know we need to work on. This represents "cultivating mind and earthly things. My granddaughter Ava wants me to help her learn to garden. I told her we'd start with container gardening, because that's easier to control. We both love good 'ole terra cotta so we're going to use some of the terra cotta pots that we already have. There's a terra cotta pot sitting next to the girl meditating, along with a plant (a Lotus Blossom). We both like the Bohemian/Native American vibe, so I blended three papers to get a Bohemian/Native American rug background. This page is very symbolic to me.
@Donitab Thank you SO much, Donita!! You'll LOVE that collection - I use parts of it quite frequently. Yes, my grands are very special and I can't wait to teach Ava what I know about loving the earth.
I honor you for gardening! I have a black thumb it seems, but that is ok because hubster balances things out. He studies gardening and seems to flourish with it! Wonderful you are doing this with GD!!!
@AJK Thanks, Amanda. I love to garden! Somebody gave me a half dead Spider Plant about a year ago and I nursed it back to health! You're lucky hubster has a green thumb. If you ask him what the secret is, he'll probably tell you that he talks to them. You have to talk to your plants.
