Description
After living in my apartment 10 years my ex's Mom came to help me fix the place up for me and the kids. She loves renovating and taught me lots of temporary tricks for apartments.

Made this page for the Pink Reptile Designs Blog Challenge using a Challenge template created by Gaelle.

Love your big painting over the sink! I need to paint my cabinets... any tips???

@Dalis We used a Pre-paint cleaner/degreaser and then just a light sanding. Our paint had primer included so it was just one coat, and it was semi-gloss for easy cleaning. They aren't the best quality cabinets and had already been painted multiple times, so I'm not sure if it would be different if you have nice cabinets.

@Dalis My mother in law brought it with her when she came to help and I didn't really look, sorry! She's a thrifty one and gets everything on Amazon, I bet she just went with the cheapest one with four stars, haha.

Sounds like a lot of work, but it looks fab! I love that frame and paper cluster behind your pic.

What a GORGEOUS kitchen Tania! And SO cool how you scrapped it what that neat stack and some perfectly placed elements. LOVE IT!
