This school year took a wild turn as the corona virus arrived. School switched to distant learning and the State of Minnesota shut down with a Shelter In Place order, meaning the Sixth Grade Class Trip to the State Capital, Science Museum, Fort Snelling and many other Minnesota attractions could no longer happen. Jennaya's teacher created a virtual class trip for the kids and on the morning of what should have been their class trip, delivered Minnesota themed treats to the students and a big caramel roll for breakfast too. Definitely not the same as experiencing the trip in person but still a special distant learning day.
what a great page Jennier and I love that you made the template your own by rotating it and adding the MN cutout! Beautiful photo of your sweet daughter Jennaya. What a creative way to do a virtual school trip!!! So creative so that even though they could not go physically at least they weren't so dissappointed. I am so glad you scrapped it.. wonderful page! Thanks for playing along with the template challenge!
I remember my 6th grade field trip to the State capital! I'm so sad for her that she didn't get to go in person (hugs). Love the MN cutout on your background!
