"Martis", which means March, is a Greek tradition to welcome spring. It's a braid bracelet of red and white string that we wear during March, so that the sun of early spring does not burn our cheeks! On the last day of March, we leave it on a tree branch to help birds make their nests.

This is the first year ever that I wore the Martis bracelet for a whole month! I didn't get a sunburn, but I think it was mostly because of the coronavirus and the lock down...
