So sorry to hear of another police officer shot. Is your granddaughter living in Oklahoma now? The feathers and wings are an interesting touch.

@flowersgal It's SO sad, Patsy. They take their lives in their hands every day when they put those uniforms on. They had a massive manhunt for the assailant and found him hiding in a motel room. No, she's not living out there yet, but she's planning on moving out there. Austin was here visiting, recently. The wings are kind of a tribute to all of the officers we've lost and the feathers are because Austin is Cherokee.

Thanks for sharing this, Cheryl! I'm thankful Austin's partners is not seriously injured. It's a beautiful tribute and I'm honored you chose my designs to do it.

Oh, that makes me sad! I'm sorry for the shooting. There's too much violence in our world. I'm glad you could make this happy page anyway.

@redplaid3 Thanks, Linda. It's a sad and frightening world. His poor mom, I thought of her the second I heard the news. Thank God for the people who put their lives on the line everyday for us.
